Some of the most remote parts of Scotland are being colonised by second or holiday homeowners who threaten to destroy already fragile communities by pricing local buyers out of the housing market.
The popularity of holiday homes is a growing phenomena although the glut of cheap holidays available online may go some way to slowing the trend down.
